                                                                         McGurk Meadow
               The trailhead to McGurk Meadow is located about 8.5 miles up Glacier Point Road on the left. 
                   A cairn on the roadside marks the trailhead.  This is an easy 3 mile hike.  The trail descends
                   through quiet lodgepole forest.  Look for lupine and larkspur, paintbrush, shooting stars, corn lily,
                   and McGurk's cabin. Bridalveil Creek meanders through the meadow.
